Efret proud to announce renewal of AEO accreditation
Efret, part of GB Global, is pleased to achieve the successful renewal of its AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) accreditation, reaffirming the company’s commitment to the highest standards of security, compliance, and operational excellence within the international supply chain.
The AEO certification is an internationally recognised certification issued by customs authorities within the UK and European Union. It is only awarded to businesses that demonstrate proven reliability, robust customs control procedures, and a strong focus on supply chain security. The renewal confirms that Efret continues to meet these demanding requirements and operate in line with best practices across the international supply chain.
As part of a trusted partnership programme between customs authorities and economic operators, AEO status recognises Efret as a reliable and compliant logistics partner. This status supports smoother customs procedures, reduces the risk of delays, and enhances operational efficiency for customers moving goods across borders.
Commenting on the renewal, Alain Jestin, CEO & Founder of Efret, said:
“Renewing our AEO accreditation is important validation for Efret. It reflects the professionalism of our team and our ongoing commitment to compliance, security, and transparency. Most importantly, it allows us to continue offering our customers a dependable, efficient service in an increasingly complex customs environment.”
As a direct customs representative, Efret can also provide clients with access to its own guarantees and authorisations, including Transit Accompanying Documents (TAD), deferment account and Entry Summary Declaration (ENS). These capabilities enable faster clearance, greater flexibility, and improved control throughout the supply chain.
The renewal of Efret’s AEO accreditation further underlines the company’s long-term investment in compliance, operational excellence, and customer trust - ensuring freight keeps moving smoothly across Europe and beyond.
