Alain has over 30 years’ experience in European transport and logistics and is the CEO and Co-founder of Efret Ltd.
Whilst his early aspirations were focused on marine exploration inspired by Jacques Cousteau, his career path led him to the transport and logistics industry. Gaining his degree in international business, trade, and commerce, he started his career with P&O Ferrymasters. Working his way up from Business Analyst to Sales Manager, he initially spent time client side, cutting his teeth as an implant coordinating logistics at a Sony in the UK. As co-founder of efret, he has been instrumental in transforming the business from a fledgling start up to one of the most well-respected operators within the European logistics sector, with an enviable client roster.
His perspective as CEO of one of the most innovative transport operators in the market, means he is well placed to comment on the logistics industry's transformation and the increasing importance of sustainability and global trade.
